Lab Life

The Orellana Lab is devoted to promoting the progress and professional growth of underrepresented students, technicians, and postdocs, as well as making science more accessible. The laboratory and teaching efforts are designed to be comprehensive, considerate, and responsible through transparent communication and critical analysis. It is crucial that everyone in the laboratory and class feels secure. The lab aims to keep enlisting students and postdocs from underrepresented communities to foster a diverse team where we can all learn from our disparities.
